Changelog

We’re improving Dovio all the time. Here’s what’s landed lately.

Email, reachable from everywhere

Email

Email is half your day, but starting one used to drop you into Gmail, where you’d retype the address and lose track of the record you came from. Now the composer is part of Dovio: it opens with the recipient already filled in, and what you send is logged on the contact.

  • Start an email from anywhere you’re working, whether that’s a contact, a company, a deal, or an email link, with the recipient already filled in so you’re not copying addresses.
  • Clicking an email address opens the Dovio composer instead of your desktop mail app, so the message stays tied to the right record.
  • If your mailbox isn’t connected yet, Dovio points you to connect it first, so the email actually sends instead of failing after you’ve written it.

Sharper AI meeting suggestions

AIMeetingsTasks

We’ve improved how the AI turns a call into follow-ups. It now focuses on your team’s commitments and reads the meeting more closely, so the suggested tasks and the draft reply need less cleanup before you use them.

  • Suggested tasks now stick to your team’s commitments, so your list stays the things you actually need to do.
  • Anything handled live on the call is filtered out and near-duplicates are merged, so what’s left is the real follow-ups.
  • The follow-up draft is written in the meeting’s language, with a natural greeting and sign-off, so it’s closer to ready to send.

Images in contracts

Contracts

You can now add images to your contracts, so a proposal carries your logo, your branding, and a picture of what you’re actually selling. Upload straight into the editor and the image shows up in the signed document.

  • Add your logo and branding right in the contract editor, so the document looks like it came from your company, not a blank template.
  • Drop in a product shot or diagram, so the customer sees what they’re buying instead of only reading about it.
  • Images are baked into the signed copy the customer receives, so the document they sign looks exactly like the one you designed.

Reusable email templates

Email

You write the same intro, the same follow-up, the same pricing note over and over, retyping it each time or digging through your sent folder for the last one. Save them once and drop them into any email.

  • Save any email as a reusable template for your whole org, so the one you wrote once is there for everyone next time.
  • A searchable picker with a live preview lets you find the right template and see it before it goes in, not guess from the name.
  • Teammates who didn’t create a template get a read-only view, so they can use it without editing the shared copy by accident.

Views stay how you left them

ViewsTasks

Dovio now remembers how you like to look at your records. When you open a record from a view and head back to it, your sort and filters are still applied, so a quick look at one record doesn’t reset everything you set up.

  • A records page reopens on the view you were last using, so the table or board you had open is the one you land on.
  • Your task filters and sort are saved per person, so ‘my open tasks, by due date’ is still that the next morning.

Auto-create contacts and companies

ContactsEmailMeetings

After a customer call or a thread with a new lead, you’d normally have to manually add the person and their company so the email and meeting actually attach to something. Dovio now does that step for you, both from email and from calendar invites.

  • New email senders become contacts on the spot, with their company matched from the email domain, so the conversation lands on a real record instead of a stranger.
  • Meeting attendees are added as contacts the moment the invite syncs, linked to their company by domain. The post-meeting summary already has someone to attach to.
  • Your own teammates are excluded automatically, so the contact list stays the people you’re actually selling to.

Aggregates and currency in tables and boards

ViewsKanban

A list of deals or a kanban of accounts is only half useful without the numbers: total value, count, average. Tables and boards now show those at a glance, with the currency set per field.

  • A new column footer sums, counts, or averages whatever you pick. So ‘total pipeline’ sits at the bottom of the column, not in a separate report.
  • Kanban column headers show the same aggregates per stage, so you can see what’s sitting in ‘Negotiation’ without doing the math.
  • Each currency field carries its own symbol setting (SEK, USD, EUR), and the aggregate uses it.

Search and filter records

Views

Finding one row in a long list of contacts, or showing only the deals tied to a specific account, used to mean scrolling or opening a filter dialog. Both now happen straight from the toolbar.

  • A name search lives on the toolbar of any record list. Type and the rows narrow as you go, no popover.
  • Filter records by a relation field to show only the deals tied to a company, or only contacts attached to a project.

Send email from a record

EmailContacts

Replying to a contact or kicking off an email from a deal used to mean switching to Gmail, finding the person, writing, then coming back. The compose now opens from the record, with the recipient already filled in.

  • A compose dialog opens from the record’s emails tab, with the contact already in the To field. No copy-pasting addresses.
  • The compose action sits on the record’s tab row, so it’s one click from the contact you’re looking at.
  • Sending uses your connected mailbox, so the email shows up in your sent folder like any other.

Inline field editing and new field types

Objects

Updating a field used to mean opening a modal, finding the right input, and saving. For most field types you now click the value and change it where it sits. And there are more types to choose from.

  • Click any text, number, boolean, select, or rating value and edit it in place. No modal, no save button.
  • A handful of new field types: currency with a per-field symbol, full name, email, phone, link, date, address, and relation.
  • The rating field stays interactive on hover. Hover a row, click the stars you want, done.

Passwordless sign-in

Sign-in

Passwords are friction on a fresh device and friction every time you forget them. Dovio now signs you in with a link sent to your email. No password to remember, no reset flow.

  • Enter your email, get a magic link in your inbox, click it. You’re in.
  • Existing passwords still work. Switching is optional.

AI meeting notes

AIMeetingsTasks

Taking notes during a sales call splits your attention, and turning those notes into tasks afterward eats another 20 minutes. AI meeting notes do both for you, straight from the call.

  • A summary of the call you can skim in seconds, so you don’t have to replay the recording to remember what was said.
  • Follow-up tasks with deadlines, picked up from how the meeting was phrased (‘by next Friday’, ‘end of the month’).
  • The right assignee and contacts are filled in for you, so accepting a task is one click instead of setting it up yourself.

Kanban boards

ViewsKanban

A list view is fine for finding a deal, but it’s a poor way to look at your pipeline. A board shows you exactly where every deal stands and lets you drag them forward. Now any list in Dovio can be worked as a board.

  • Switch any list view into a board in one click, so you drag deals through stages instead of clicking into each row.
  • Add a new stage straight from the board, so adapting your pipeline doesn’t mean a trip into settings.
  • Recover boards you archived by mistake, in case someone cleaned up a little too aggressively.

AI email drafts

AIEmail

The follow-up email after a meeting is the one that always gets pushed to ‘later’ and then forgotten. Dovio writes the first draft for you, with the recap and next steps already in the body.

  • A draft shows up after every meeting, ready to read in the Emails page or on the contact’s email tab.
  • Edit the recipients, subject, and body like a normal email, so you stay in control of what actually goes out.
  • Send from your own connected inbox, so it lands in the recipient’s inbox the same way any other email would.

Email in Dovio

Email

When emails live in Gmail and contacts live in your CRM, half your day goes to keeping the two in sync. Email now lives inside Dovio, right where the contacts are.

  • A new Emails page that collects all your drafts in one place, so the half-written follow-ups you started yesterday are easy to find and finish.
  • Every contact and company has its own email tab, so the conversation history sits right there when you open the record.
  • New emails coming in create the contact for you, so people you’ve never spoken to are already in the CRM by the time you reply.
